Cashier and Administrative Assistant

The Township seeks qualified applicants to fill a part-time position of Cashier and Administrative Assistant. 

Hours: Part-time position, approximately 20 hours per week

Basic Function: Assist the Treasurer and Deputy Treasurer with a variety of cashier and administrative support functions. Perform related work as required.

Qualifications: Applicants for this position should possess excellent interpersonal skills that promotes a positive customer experience and effective working relationships with property owners, public officials and the general public. Knowledge of basic accounting and bookkeeping practices/procedures as well as functional knowledge and proficiency with desktop computer applications, particularly MS Word and Excel. Strong attention to detail/accuracy and ability to operate standard office equipment.

Work experience and required education include a high school diploma supplemented by additional relevant education and training in bookkeeping.

Schedule: Varies, Wednesday and Friday required.
