Prepare Fair

Come down to Walmart (2629 N. Park Drive) on Saturday, September 14 between 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. to learn how to prepare for emergencies during National Preparedness Month. Meet your local first responders, explore emergency response vehicles and get free preparedness items (while supplies last). There will also be a donation collection during the event that will be distributed during times of emergency.

Suggested donation items:

• Peanut butter
• Canned tuna or chicken in water
• Canned fruit (in 100% juice or light syrup)
• Canned vegetables (no salt added or low sodium preferred)
• Pasta
• Pasta sauce (cans not glass bottles)
• Shelf stable milk
• Cereal
• Protein bars
• Canned soups or stews
• Gallon water jugs
• Flashlights
• AA batteries

Please select easy-open tops when possible.
